Madison Car Wash

**TESTIMONIAL**

Where else can you get a quick & simple car wash for $6. Just don't expect any frills. They also provide industrial vacuums for you to vacuum your car with. All self service. For the wash itself, just pay the cashier (cash only) and drive into the car wash. They do a quick hand wipe at the other end on your way out and that's it. No wait no fuss. Can't talk about any other service though since I never tried them.  For $6 and 10 minutes, what a bargain.

This review is for the express wash only. I pretty much live in my car-- I travel for work so my car is my office, my picnic area, and my naptime cot, and I'm at a point where I actually LIKE eating and sleeping in my car; it's warm and I can listen to any music I want. I don't really like going for the full-on car washes because I hate waiting for it to be done while I read scraps of abandoned WSJ, while some weirdo stranger shuffles all of my stuff around to vacuum.  I'm happy to vacuum myself, and then I get the joy of pulling through the car wash, leaning my seat all the way back, turn up the music way loud, and opening the shield to the moon roof so I can watch all of the multicolored soap fling around and listen to the THWAPPITA THWAPPITA THWAPPITA of the felt flappies.

This makes me so happy.  I'm not hard to please.

It's not $5 anymore. They raised it to a whole $6. Now I'm sure you won't go broke digging through your coin purse or under the seats of your car to find an extra dollar. You'll get your car washed eventually. Now it's not the best car wash in the world but it does the job if your looking for a quick and inexpensive wash. They also offer waxing, car detailing, and whatever else you would do to your car that I did not mention above. Now when they say five minutes I highly doubt that especially on busy days. It's more like eight minutes. I still never got my money back but they gave me a $2 off coupon....

**TESTIMONIAL**

Until LA I had always lived where it rained every tree or four days and never saw the need to wash my car, I just let nature take care of it.  I attempted to do that in LA when I first got my car, but since it didn't rain for those six months, I decided to try a new plan.  Now, about once a month I go over to Madison car wash.  I give them six bucks, vacuum my car, and then drive through the car wash with my music blaring and my eyes close until they knock on my door giving me a strange look. Though I must report today, yes today, is the first time that I drove through the wash with my eyes open and the music at a volume that wasn't actually painful.  And I am still alive to write about it.  The car wash did not swallow me.  Thank you Madison Car Wash for proving to me that Car Washes are necessary and benign.

Madison Car Wash

Love It

$5 car wash...love it! Car washes are one of those weekend chores that are just that, a chore. Usually takes up way too much of your time. Sure it can be nice to sit outside reading a magazine on a nice day waiting for your car to be dried and shined, but lets be honest, a 5 minute $5 wash can't be beat! You can even get a card that's 5 washes for the price of 4. Of course you can get a fancier wash there as well.

Sure you've got to schlep it a bit and vacuum yourself, but at least you are aware if you are about to suck up that expensive pair of earrings you've been missing. Then you get to sit in your car, in neutral, and be pulled through the car wash. Sure it's not absolutely thorough but for $5 bucks it does the job!

Fancy Full Service Wash

I have not done Madison Car Washs fancy full service wash yet....but will be back to give it a try :)

Madison Car Wash

$5

It really is a 5 minute $5 car wash. You have to get there before 11am to get the deal, but it's the best value in Los Angeles. OK, for $5 you won't get the whole 9 yards, but you will get your car clean.

Price Is Good

The price is good, the car is clean, the staff is friendly. What more can I ask for from a car wash? I would definitely come back here.

Love this place!

I just love this place! I never get a full wash, just the $6 drive through. Is it because I don't like random people cleaning out my car or maybe the good Jewish girl in me...both. I love this place, grab a vacuum that sucks all the dirt from my friends' louboutins off the passenger side floor mats..., drive through, put it in Neutral and blast the new Passion Pit album...a 6 minute party in the middle of my day and come out with a clean car. Saaaawwwwweeeeeeeeeeeengbatta!
